Presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina have said that President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back tomorrow.

In a statement, he stated that “President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes.”

The Nigerian leader, who left the country’s shores on January 19th 2017 for a vacation, during which he had routine medical check-ups, had been originally expected back on February 6th but canceled.

In a letter written to the Senate, he asked for an indefinite extension, basing it on doctors’ advice and expected but unnamed tests.
